Infrastructure Updates
Scheduled Maintenance Report for Spireon
Postmortem

Spireon Customers –

We wanted to take a moment to provide some further context with regards to yesterday’s planned maintenance. The maintenance was originally scheduled for July 25th 2020. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to accelerate the maintenance to July 19th starting at 10 am PST. Please understand that our primary reason for this acceleration was to ensure the reliability of our services. Our engineering leaders felt the risk of executing the maintenance on July 25th was significantly higher than moving ahead with short notice. We started the maintenance shortly after 10 am and concluded the maintenance by 2:20 pm PST. Full, real-time data service resumed at approximately 2:20 pm PST. All backlogged data and traffic finished processing at 5:45 pm PST. During this maintenance, there was no loss of data.

We apologize for any disruption this may have caused to your business.
